The word "video" has been overused. Sometime it's being used to refer to a slideshow. I've seen too many of these slideshowy ones on World Economic Forum. But they also do some crisp ones as well.
I won't labor here with examples of the long-winded slideshowy video examples. I almost wanted to pause the video every time and just scrub through the timeline to read all the sentences one frame after another and be done with it.
I am not against putting text on the screen. And I get it that a lot of people would just scroll through their social feeds without sound and text-based videos would be nice to them. But there's got to be a better way than copy line after line of text from a Word document and paste straight onto the screen over pictures.
